李清照《攤破浣溪沙》

Poetry with tune “Special version of Washing silk cloth in a stream”

By Li Qing Jou(1084-1155), Sung Dynasty

Translated by Alan Ma, July 8, 2014.

 病起蕭蕭兩鬢華,臥看殘月上窗紗。

豆蔻連梢煎熟水,莫分茶。

 枕上詩書閑處好,門前風景雨來佳。

終日向人多醞藉,木犀花。

Recovery from sickness find me pale and hair white,

Lean back to watch the crescent moon through the window curtain comes into sight.

Cardamom including stems boil up in hot water,

Nothing better follow by a drink with salt and ginger tea after.

Reading poems and books against the pillow is leisurely fine,

Scenery at the front door is best when drizzle hits high.

Devoted to people all day while inside subtle intellectually,

Are instincts of the pure Sweet Olive flowers with fragrance delicately!
