林花謝了春紅，太怱怱。
無奈朝來寒雨，晚來風。
胭脂淚，相留醉 (留人醉)，幾時重？
自是人生長恨，水長東。
Forest
flowers withered and in Spring once again blossoms show,
How hastily
they come and go!
Can’t
help it at dawn with the cold rain,
Or by night
the chilly wind but cannot refrain.
Tears
wash down a rouge face, together let’s get drunk,
When
will I see you another round?
It’s always
for life to have regret never ceased,
As River
water flows ever east.
