天地初開 Introduction of my blog

 

天地初開

某日因讀唐宋大家柳宗元「始得西山宴遊記」，而覺句中很能表達所想之意境，「悠悠乎與灝氣俱，而莫得其涯!洋洋乎與造物者遊，而不知其所窮!」故以之為我網誌之名。是歲公元弍零零捌年拾壹月拾玖日也。

For those who cannot read Chinese:

The famous, Liu Zhong Yuen, one of the most popular eight poets in Tang and Sung Dynasty, once said this,

“Smoothly I fuse myself with the great enerry that exists in the universe, without

 

knowing where it starts;

Happily I walk with the Creator, without knowing where it ends!”

I have therefore adopted “Walk with the Creator” as name of my blog.

 

This blog is dedicated to Chinese culture, and bilateral translations between Chinese

 

and English.
